Original job description

The role

Are you ready to dive into the world of cutting-edge video game development? Headquartered in Montreal, Behaviour Interactive is at the forefront of the gaming industry, crafting unforgettable experiences across PC, console, and mobile platforms. We’re a dynamic, independent studio of over 1200 passionate employees, with studios in Toronto (Behaviour Toronto), Rotterdam (Behaviour Rotterdam) and in the UK (Behaviour UK–North & South). Our day to day revolves around two core business focuses: Services and Original Games. Our Services team collaborates with gaming and entertainment giants like Disney, Sony, Activision, and Nintendo, delivering exceptional work-for-hire development and pioneering immersive location-based entertainment (LBE). Meanwhile, our Original Games unit pushes our creative limits, with our signature IPs, including the iconic Dead by Daylight. Join us and be a part of the future of interactive entertainment!

At Behaviour Interactive, we believe in giving everyone a fair shot. We embrace a diverse and creative environment where everyone is celebrated. We value folks of all ages, sex, ethnicity, colour, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, civil status, disability, or any other protected characteristics as per applicable law.

As an Associate Producer and reporting to one of our Producers, you will help drive the execution of gameplay initiatives across multidisciplinary teams. Working closely with Design, UI/UX, Programming, and Production leadership, you will facilitate collaboration, improve development workflows, and support the delivery of high-quality gameplay features.

In this role you will :

Coordinate the work of Gameplay, UI/UX, Design, and Programming teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, objectives, and deliverables.
Build and maintain production schedules, roadmaps, and project tracking processes to support feature development and milestone planning.
Facilitate the day-to-day operations of the team by tracking progress, identifying risks, and helping teams stay focused on project goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders and team leads to review feature progress, gather feedback, and support informed decision-making throughout development.
Contribute to the establishment and continuous improvement of production workflows, design approval processes, and team collaboration practices.
Foster effective collaboration between distributed teams and external development partners to ensure smooth feature delivery.

What we're looking for :

Minimum of 9 years of experience in game production, with a minimum of 3 years managing project managers and/or team leads.
Proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and risk management skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and influence teams.
Experience working closely with Design, UI/UX, and Programming teams throughout the game development lifecycle.
Experience with Jira, Agile development methodologies, and production tracking tools.
