Original job description

English section of this bilingual listing.

Are you ready to dive into the world of cutting-edge video game development? Headquartered in Montreal, Behaviour Interactive is at the forefront of the gaming industry, crafting unforgettable experiences across PC, console, and mobile platforms. We’re a dynamic, independent studio of over 1200 passionate employees, with studios in Toronto (Behaviour Toronto), Rotterdam (Behaviour Rotterdam) and in the UK (Behaviour UK–North & South). Our day to day revolves around two core business focuses: Services and Original Games. Our Services team collaborates with gaming and entertainment giants like Disney, Sony, Activision, and Nintendo, delivering exceptional work-for-hire development and pioneering immersive location-based entertainment (LBE). Meanwhile, our Original Games unit pushes our creative limits, with our signature IPs, including the iconic Dead by Daylight. Join us and be a part of the future of interactive entertainment!

At Behaviour Interactive, we believe in giving everyone a fair shot. We embrace a diverse and creative environment where everyone is celebrated. We value folks of all ages, sex, ethnicity, colour, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, civil status, disability, or any other protected characteristics as per applicable law.

Help shape the future of Exterminauts, a new IP from day one.

Exterminauts is a co-op third-person PvE shooter using weaponized power tools and mad-science gadgets to exterminate alien pests. Take on MegaCorp contracts amid energy supremacy clashes, while aliens' thirst for Polymorphic Plasma disrupts plans. Punch In. Clean Up. Get Paid.

This is a rare opportunity to help build a new IP from the ground up and define how players experience it for years to come.

As a Senior Community Manager, you will play a key role in building and growing our player community before and after launch. Working closely with internal teams and external publishing partners, you will help define community strategies, advocate for players, foster meaningful engagement, and contribute to the long-term success of a live-service experience. Your work will directly influence player trust, community growth, and the evolution of the game.

\nIn this role you will:

Publisher Alignment: Partner closely with the external publishing team to align community roadmaps, marketing beats, PR strategies, and launch windows.
Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute long-term community strategies and event calendars that meet both studio goals and publisher milestones.
Player Advocacy & Reporting: Act as the voice of the community to internal stakeholders, distilling complex player sentiment and feedback into actionable data for both developers and the publisher.
Authentic & Transparent Communication: Act as the voice of the development team and the game to the community, clearly translating patch notes, design decisions, roadmap adjustments, and studio values into engaging, transparent, and player-friendly messaging.
Crisis Management & Moderation: Monitor player sentiment, manage live-service escalations, enforce community guidelines, and co-ordinate with the publisher for sensitive messaging and service outages.
Data & Analytics: Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like engagement rate, active user growth, and sentiment to both studio leadership and publisher stakeholders

What we are looking for:

Significant experience managing communities for live-service games, with a strong understanding of player sentiment, engagement, and ongoing content support.
Proven ability to build and execute community strategies that align with business objectives, development priorities, and publisher goals.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex, nuanced topics into clear, transparent, and engaging player messaging.
Experience collaborating with external publishers and cross-functional teams, including Marketing, PR, Production, and Design.
Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience leveraging community feedback, sentiment analysis, and KPIs to drive decision-making.
A proactive, player-first mindset with a passion for fostering trust, representing player needs, and helping to shape the success of a new IP.

Dans ce rôle tu devras:

Alignement avec l'éditeur : Collaborer étroitement avec l'équipe d'édition externe afin d'assurer l'alignement des feuilles de route communautaires, des initiatives marketing, des stratégies de relations publiques et des fenêtres de lancement;
Stratégie et planification : Développer et exécuter des stratégies communautaires à long terme ainsi que des calendriers d'activations et d'événements répondant aux objectifs du studio et aux jalons établis avec l'éditeur;
Représentation des joueur·euse·s et reddition de comptes : Agir comme porte-parole de la communauté auprès des parties prenantes internes en transformant les commentaires et le sentiment des joueur·euse·s en données exploitables pour les équipes de développement et l'éditeur;
Communication authentique et transparente : Représenter l'équipe de développement et le jeu auprès de la communauté en traduisant clairement les notes de mise à jour, les décisions de design, les ajustements à la feuille de route et les valeurs du studio en messages engageants, transparents et adaptés aux joueur·euse·s;
Gestion de crise et modération : Surveiller le sentiment de la communauté, gérer les situations sensibles liées au live service, appliquer les lignes directrices communautaires et coordonner les communications avec l'éditeur lors d'interruptions de service ou d'enjeux délicats;

Expérience significative en gestion de communautés pour des jeux live service, avec une excellente compréhension de l'engagement des joueur·euse·s, du sentiment communautaire et du soutien continu au contenu;
Capacité démontrée à élaborer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies communautaires alignées sur les objectifs d'affaires, les priorités de développement et les objectifs de publication;
Excellentes habiletés de communication écrite et verbale, avec la capacité de vulgariser des sujets complexes et nuancés en messages clairs, transparents et engageants pour les joueur·euse·s;
Expérience de collaboration avec des partenaires d'édition externes ainsi qu'avec des équipes multidisciplinaires, notamment en marketing, relations publiques, production et design;
Solides compétences analytiques et de reddition de comptes, avec une expérience dans l'exploitation des retours de la communauté, de l'analyse du sentiment et des indicateurs de performance (KPIs) afin d'orienter la prise de décision;
