Original job description

The role

Are you ready to dive into the world of cutting-edge video game development? Headquartered in Montreal, Behaviour Interactive is at the forefront of the gaming industry, crafting unforgettable experiences across PC, console, and mobile platforms. We’re a dynamic, independent studio of over 1200 passionate employees, with studios in Toronto (Behaviour Toronto), Rotterdam (Behaviour Rotterdam) and in the UK (Behaviour UK–North & South). Our day to day revolves around two core business focuses: Services and Original Games. Our Services team collaborates with gaming and entertainment giants like Disney, Sony, Activision, and Nintendo, delivering exceptional work-for-hire development and pioneering immersive location-based entertainment (LBE). Meanwhile, our Original Games unit pushes our creative limits, with our signature IPs, including the iconic Dead by Daylight. Join us and be a part of the future of interactive entertainment!

At Behaviour Interactive, we believe in giving everyone a fair shot. We embrace a diverse and creative environment where everyone is celebrated. We value folks of all ages, sex, ethnicity, colour, ethnic or national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, civil status, disability, or any other protected characteristics as per applicable law.

As a Project Manager on 7 Days to Die, you will help drive the day-to-day production of our Content team, working closely with artists, designers, and other development partners. You will bring structure and visibility to a growing, distributed team, ensuring priorities remain clear, plans stay actionable, and teams have what they need to deliver.

In this role you will :

Manage the day-to-day production activities of one or two cross-disciplinary pods, supporting approximately 20–25 team members.
Drive sprint planning, task prioritization, and follow-ups, ensuring deliverables, dependencies, and blockers remain visible and actionable.
Partner closely with artists, designers, and other disciplines to translate production goals into clear plans and priorities.
Facilitate team rituals and individual follow-ups, proactively identifying risks, resolving production issues, and maintaining momentum.
Coordinate deliverables and communication across a distributed development environment, including internal teams and external partners.
Support the evolution of production processes as teams come together and grow, bringing structure while adapting your approach to the team's needs.

What we're looking for :

Solid game production or project management experience, including hands-on experience planning and managing sprints for large teams.
6+ years of experience, including 4+ years coordinating cross-disciplinary game development teams, particularly Art and Design.
Strong proficiency with production and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to follow up effectively with multiple contributors and stakeholders.
A flexible and pragmatic approach to production, with the ability to bring structure to evolving teams and navigate changing priorities.
Experience with mobile games, QA, outsourcing, or distributed development is considered an asset.
