MACHINE OPERATOR

Our Machine Operators are responsible to set-up and operate various pieces of machinery specific to their area of responsibility and in accordance with blueprints, drawings and / or verbal instructions as applicable. Employees must be willing to work 8-hour shifts on a two-week shift rotation.

Requirements:

2 to 3 years experience in a related industrial background.
Must have good mathematical skills have experience with using various measuring instruments.
Forklift and/or Crane experience would be an asset
Past experience in a manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Knowledge of quality and safety standards.
Excellent problem solving, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline driven environment; adapt to change and work under pressure.
Demonstrated positive attitude, initiative and the ability to work well with others.

Set up and operate machinery for the assigned area, following blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions. Work rotating eight-hour shifts while meeting production, quality, and safety expectations.

Requirements

Requires 2–3 years of experience in a related industrial setting, strong mathematical ability, and experience using measuring instruments; manufacturing experience is beneficial. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and demonstrate problem-solving, communication, adaptability, initiative, and teamwork; forklift or crane experience is an asset.
