Oversee product availability, order fulfilment, warehousing, transportation and finished goods inventory, balancing service, cost, working capital and risk. Ensure capacity and contingency plans support promotions, seasonal peaks, growth and continuity. Lead recovery from supply and logistics disruptions.
Demand planning and S&OP
Lead and develop the Demand Planning team, setting objectives for forecast accuracy, bias and planning quality, and addressing performance gaps. Provide direction, resources and constructive challenge while the team owns demand plan development. Ensure sound assumptions aligned with Sales, Marketing and Finance. Own Supply Chain's S&OP contribution, presenting demand and supply risks, capacity constraints, inventory and cost implications. Secure country and North America decisions and deliver agreed actions.
Customer replenishment and collaboration
Lead and develop the Customer Replenishment and Collaboration team, setting strategy and goals for service, on-shelf availability, inventory and customer supply chain relationships. Provide direction, coaching and resources, aligning replenishment and collaboration priorities with Sales and Canadian objectives. Be accountable for team performance and relationship outcomes. Support strategic customer discussions and escalations, and ensure improvement plans address service gaps and avoidable costs.
Value Added Services (VAS) and rework
Define VAS strategy, priorities and targets; own service, cost and quality performance. Direct and support the VAS Manager on capacity, providers and delivery. Support manager-led continuous improvement, cost efficiency and waste reduction, securing resources for capability and capacity needs. Ensure traceability and inventory controls, with Quality and Regulatory alignment on specifications, approvals and release.
Innovation and product changes
Be accountable for the North America Project Management team's performance in delivering Canadian innovations and product changes on time, within budget and to customer requirements. Ensure Canadian business and customer needs are captured early in scope, milestones, dependencies and timelines, supporting customer setup, launch readiness and delivery dates. Agree Canadian priorities, responsibilities and commitments with regional project leaders. Review progress, secure corrective actions and resources, and escalate delivery risks.
North America service delivery and governance
Represent Canadian requirements in regional planning, logistics and shared-service decisions, ensuring North America priorities support local commitments. Agree service levels, responsibilities, performance measures and escalation routes with regional functions serving Canada. Review service quality, reliability, responsiveness and cost. Secure resources and corrective actions with owners and timelines; ensure sustained results. Influence across reporting lines and resolve competing priorities while retaining accountability for Canadian operations.
Budget and cost delivery
Own the Canadian supply chain budget, rolling forecasts and approved cost targets, including North America service costs. Manage warehousing, transportation, VAS, rework, inventory write-offs, customer penalties and other supply chain costs. Partner with Finance to explain variances, validate charges and accruals, and implement corrective actions. Assess cost to serve by customer, channel and activity. Deliver measurable savings and productivity improvements while maintaining service and quality. Build investment, outsourcing and network change business cases.
