Summary

Are you a naturally curious problem-solver who loves digging into complex data to find the "why" behind the numbers? We are looking for a dynamic Specialist, Channel Compensation? who pairs strong financial and data skills with a strategic, big-picture mindset. In this role, you will take the lead on projects from start to finish, helping design the future of our compensation strategy. Your work and insights will directly influence executive decisions and drive business innovation.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Channel Compensation, the successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the projects, financials, and analytics that drive our compensation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage compensation plans under various financial and strategic scenarios, ensuring alignment between business strategy and budget constraints.
Partner closely with Finance to keep our budgets on track, manage the accrual process for accurate forecasting of future cash flows, and lead variance analysis to explain historical compensation trends.
Analyze large datasets from various systems to perform deep-dive reviews, spotting outliers, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization; build driver-based models, use case analyses, and post-mortems to incorporate company strategy, key priorities, and business innovations.
Translate complex data and strategic findings into clean, high-impact presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.
Lead cross-functional projects to implement compensation strategies for new products and initiatives

Critical Qualifications

University degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics (or related field) and 2–3 years of relevant work experiences.
Strong business sense with a natural ability to think logically, analytically, and "outside the box" to find fresh solutions for complex and ambiguous problems.
A self-starter with proven project management skills, capable of driving projects from end-to-end and collaborating effectively across business units (e.g., Sales, Finance, Operations).
Strong capability to work with massive data, build complex analytical models and translate those strategic findings into compelling presentations for executive decision-making.
Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and a sharp eye for identifying anomalies or inconsistencies in complex data and processes.
High proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to pull your own queries using languages like Teradata, SQL, SAS, or similar tools.

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
