Responsibilities
Assemble, install, adjust, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, including conveyors, pumps, compressors, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Diagnose malfunctions, repair or replace defective parts, perform preventive and emergency maintenance, and ensure equipment is aligned and functioning safely.
Requirements
Requires an other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience, and 2 to less than 3 years of experience. Relevant credentials include Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) or Construction Millwright certification, with a Red Seal endorsement; welding knowledge, a vehicle, and personal tools are also indicated.
