Vacancy: 1 permanent
Salary Range: $89,719 - $ 112,149/year* This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered depends on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications and experience.
Summary
This strategic growth role is designed for an accomplished sales professional who combines deep industry expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset. You bring an established network of advisor relationships, a strong reputation in the market, and a demonstrated ability to influence, engage, and grow business through trusted partnerships.
You will play a pivotal role in expanding Beneva's presence by leveraging your existing connections and developing new advisor relationships with high-potential firms and producers. Success in this role will come from your ability to identify opportunities, open doors, and create meaningful partnerships that generate sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Build, strengthen, and maintain strong relationships with brokers, consultants, TPAs, and group administrators that drives new business
Promote Beneva’s group insurance solutions and clearly communicate our value to intermediaries and employer groups
Develop deep knowledge of Beneva’s group insurance offerings, financial arrangements, and administrative procedures
Evaluate and select proposal requests, analyze specifications, and prepare rating requests for Actuarial
Present and sell new business proposals and renewal recommendations to intermediaries and clients
Support the implementation and onboarding of new groups
Monitor and assess existing plans, recommending improvements that address evolving client needs
Analyze renewal proposals, justify recommendations, and ensure alignment with client expectations
Conduct proactive outreach to maintain strong ongoing relationships and identify growth opportunities
Represent Beneva at industry events, conferences, and training sessions; prepare post‑event reports
Maintain accurate weekly activity reports and contribute to departmental reporting as required
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to support continuous improvement
Support and participate in training activities for group administrators and intermediaries.
Serve as a knowledgeable and dependable representative of Beneva in the region
Perform related tasks as assigned by leadership.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in administration, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of group insurance sales experience.
Strong knowledge of the life and health insurance brokerage landscape.
Market intermediary license (if applicable).
Strong verbal and written communication skills; French is an asset.
Proven sales and business development ability, including comfort with numerical analysis.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
