Why Join Benson Lock?

Established in 1989, Benson Lock has been a trusted commercial locksmith and door specialist across the GTA for over 35 years. Built on long-standing client relationships and quality craftsmanship, we make sure our techs have the respect, tools, and support they need to succeed every day.

What We Offer:

Competitive Pay: $25.00 – $48.00 per hour (based on experience).
Fully Paid Benefits: 100% employer-paid health, dental, and medical coverage.
Company Vehicle, Gear & Apparel: Dedicated company vehicle, gas card, company credit card, cell phone, and full company workwear provided (shirts, sweaters, pants, etc.).
Paid Time Off: Paid sick days + bi-annual incentive days.
Bonuses: Annual performance bonuses based on company and individual success.
Great Culture: A supportive team that values your work, complete with annual team outings and events.

About the Role

As a Commercial Locksmith Technician, you’ll work independently out of a dedicated company vehicle servicing our commercial, retail, and industrial clients across the GTA. You will handle standard commercial hardware, master key systems, and Automatic Door Operator (ADO) systems.

What You’ll Do

Install, service, and repair commercial hardware (mortise locks, deadbolts, continuous hinges, panic exit devices).
Re-key cylinders, cut keys, and service master key systems.
Install, service, and troubleshoot Automatic Door Operators (ADOs) and accessibility systems. (We will train you on ADOs if you don't have experience!)
Complete daily work orders efficiently using our mobile dispatch app.
Provide professional, friendly service to property managers and site contacts.

What We’re Looking For

1+ year of hands-on commercial locksmithing experience.
Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Clean Criminal Background Check.

Assets (Nice to Have):

Prior experience with Automatic Door Operators (ADOs) or handicap push-button systems.
