We are currently hiring a part-time Bingo Coordinator to join our Chances Castlegar Team. 

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the bingo games, managing prizes, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, and providing excellent customer service.

What you will be doing

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility to create a pleasant environment.
• Report any health and safety concerns promptly to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Supervise and support bingo staff during game operations.
• Understand and effectively communicate the Responsible Gambling (RG) program to customers and employees.
• Manage accounts related to bingo operations.
• Contribute to the development of bingo games to enhance the customer experience.
• Assist with marketing initiatives to promote bingo events and attract patrons.
• Manage KODIAK system for efficient game operations.
• Oversee the bingo game operations and prize boards.
• Assist with the verification of winning bingo cards when required.

What you will bring 

• Excellent cash handling skills, with the ability to handle large volumes of cash accurately.
• Strong math skills to perform calculations and reconcile bingo transactions.
• Supervisory skills would be an asset to effectively manage the bingo staff.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage accounts and game development.
• Familiarity with the Responsible Gambling (RG) program and effective communication with customers.
• Ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certificate and a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch.
• Must be 19+
