Shift Manager/Cage Supervisor - Salmon Arm

Are you an experienced leader who enjoys working with people and keeping things running smoothly?

We are looking for a Full-Time Shift Manager / Cage Supervisor to join our team at Chances Salmon Arm. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll help lead the team, support our guests, oversee cage operations, and ensure each shift operates safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You’ll be someone our team can count on during the shift. From supporting employees and handling guest concerns to overseeing financial transactions and ensuring our gaming operations meet required standards, you’ll play an important role in the overall guest experience.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support the team throughout your shift, providing direction, coaching, and assistance as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and help create a positive experience for every guest.
• Oversee cage operations and personnel, ensuring compliance with BCLC and Community Gaming Centre standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor financial transactions, review reports, and maintain accuracy in all financial activities.
• Support and promote our Responsible Gambling program with both guests and employees.
• Address guest and employee concerns professionally and appropriately.
• Assist with scheduling, shift changes, employee coaching, and performance discussions.
• Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and presented to a high standard.
• Complete required paperwork, forms, reports, and administrative tasks accurately.
• Identify and report health and safety concerns.
• Step in wherever needed to support the team and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to confidently lead a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A high level of accountability and professionalism.
• The ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when dealing with financial transactions and reports.
• Previous experience with Cage, SDS, or CMP systems is an asset.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certificate and a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch.
• Must be 19+ years of age.
