The Corporate Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting of assigned corporate entities and holding companies. The role supports month-end and year-end activities, maintains accurate financial records, manages intercompany transactions, and provides financial information and analysis to support the broader finance team.

This position is well suited to a hands-on accounting professional who is comfortable working in a multi-entity environment and managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform month-end and year-end close activities for assigned corporate entities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related financial reporting for assigned entities.
Maintain accurate general ledgers and supporting schedules for corporate entities, investments, loans, and fixed assets.
Record and reconcile corporate revenue streams, including management fees, development fees, intercompany charges, and cost allocations.
Reconcile and monitor intercompany transactions, shareholder loans, and partner-related activities.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and cash flow analysis for assigned entities.
Prepare documentation and financial information required for audits, tax filings, and other compliance activities.

What you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CPA designation or CPA candidates considered a strong asset.
3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
Experience within real estate, development, investment, or multi-entity corporate environments is considered a strong asset.

Le ou la comptable corporatif(ve) est responsable des activités comptables courantes et de l’information financière de certaines entités corporatives et sociétés de portefeuille qui lui sont attitrées. Cette personne participe aux activités de fin de mois et de fin d’exercice, assure l’exactitude des registres financiers, effectue le suivi des transactions intersociétés et fournit des analyses et informations financières afin de soutenir l’équipe des finances.

Ce poste convient à une personne ayant une approche pratique et rigoureuse, à l’aise de travailler dans un environnement comportant plusieurs entités et de gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément.

Responsabilité clés :

Effectuer les activités de clôture de fin de mois et de fin d’exercice pour les entités corporatives attitrées, incluant la préparation des écritures de journal, les conciliations de comptes, les provisions et les analyses financières.
Préparer les états financiers mensuels, trimestriels et annuels ainsi que les rapports financiers connexes pour les entités attitrées.
Maintenir à jour les grands livres généraux et les registres de soutien liés aux entités corporatives, aux investissements, aux prêts et aux immobilisations.
Comptabiliser et concilier les différentes sources de revenus corporatifs, notamment les frais de gestion, les honoraires de développement, les charges intersociétés et les répartitions de coûts.
Effectuer le rapprochement et le suivi des transactions intersociétés, des prêts aux actionnaires et des activités liées aux partenaires.
Participer aux activités de budgétisation, de prévisions financières et de gestion de la trésorerie, ainsi qu’à l’analyse des flux de trésorerie des entités attitrées.
Préparer la documentation et l’information financière requises dans le cadre des audits, des déclarations fiscales et des autres activités de conformité.

Profil recherché :

Baccalauréat en comptabilité, en finance ou dans un domaine connexe.
Titre professionnel CPA ou candidat(e) au titre de CPA considéré comme un atout important.
3 à 5 ans d’expérience progressive en comptabilité.
Une expérience dans les secteurs de l’immobilier, du développement, de l’investissement ou dans un environnement corporatif à entités multiples constitue un atout important.
Maîtrise avancée de Microsoft Excel; une expérience avec Yardi est considérée comme un atout.
Grande rigueur, souci du détail et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément.
