Original job description

About Betstamp Ventures

One team. Four high-growth businesses. More than 2 million people using what we build.

Betstamp Ventures spans iGaming technology, market data and odds pricing, trading and market making, and acquisition and media. We price 200+ sportsbooks, operate a portfolio of consumer apps, and run our own media company.

It started with Betstamp, the free odds comparison and bet tracking app that professional bettors built in 2020 because the market didn't offer sharp enough tools. It's earned 200,000+ downloads and a 4.9-star rating, and the pricing behind it now runs across the industry. Today the same team also runs our own iGaming consumer brands and the media and partnerships business that brings players to them, all Canadian-owned and operated from our King Street West HQ in Toronto.

Small by design. One team runs all four businesses, so there's a lot of ground per person, and you're trusted with real scope early.

The Team

This role sits with our iGaming team, on the consumer side of the business and separate from Betstamp's sports products. We build and run our own consumer brands, plus a media and partnerships business that brings users to them. We're launching new brands on a shared platform, so what you build once gets used across every brand. Everything is built in-house by a small team. Decisions get made in a conversation, not a committee.

Who You'll Work With

You'll report to our CEO and work every day with our creative, lifecycle and analytics people, plus the engineers who build our landing pages and tracking.

The Role

Paid acquisition is how most new users find our brands, and it's currently run with too much founder time in the loop. You'll own every paid dollar, from creative to cost per purchase (Meta today, new channels next) and build the playbook that takes a new brand from launch to profitable volume. Spend follows proof.

What You'll Own

  • Meta and Google campaigns across our brands: structure, budgets, bidding and daily pacing
  • The creative pipeline: briefs, testing velocity and iteration with our designers and AI tools, so winning angles are found fast
  • Launch playbook: paid live within days of a new brand going live, from a written runbook someone else could run
  • One trusted paid number: cost per acquisition, first purchase and 30-day value by channel and creative, reconciled to our own reporting
  • The next channel: testing beyond Meta until one clears the same bar

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 days: you own the accounts, spend is reported in one place, and founders are out of the daily loop
  • First 90 days: paid is profitable at higher spend across our live brands, and new brands launch paid from your runbook
  • First 6 months: a second channel is tested, and you've hired or scoped your first media buyer or creative producer

What We're Looking For

  • 3-6 years running paid acquisition for consumer apps or ecommerce, with real budget responsibility and results you can show
  • Hands-on Meta Ads expertise: account structure, creative testing and scaling without blowing up efficiency
  • Fluency with attribution, tracking and cohort economics. You think in payback, not clicks
  • A creative eye: you can brief and judge ads, not just optimize bids
  • Heavy, daily use of AI tools for creative, analysis and reporting
  • Based in Toronto and able to work from our King St W office most days

Nice to Have

  • Experience in gaming, entertainment or other regulated or high-frequency consumer categories
  • Experience with Google, TikTok, native or affiliate-adjacent paid channels
  • You've hired or managed a media buyer or creative producer before

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary & raises: share in the upside you build
  • Performance bonus tied to results
  • Health spending account, gym membership, a work-from-anywhere month each year, and a gear and learning stipend
  • Everyone has the best AI tools available, and nobody has to justify using them

Hiring Process

  • Short video intro: a few questions, recorded on your own time
  • Intro call: meet the team, swap questions
  • Paid case: a real account problem, a short brief, under two hours
  • Final interview: meet the founders and hear where the role is going
  • Offer

Closing

We care more about your ability to learn and deliver than ticking every box. If you're close, apply!

Start date: As soon as you're ready.
