Job Role: IT Enterprise Architect/Strategist - Senior (OPS/Federal government experience)

Location : Toronto, ON/Onsite

Position Type : Contract Role

Must Have:

  • Experience in capability-based architecture
  • Prior OPS/Federal government experience
  • Knowledge and experience in Application architecture, Technology Architecture, and Artificial intelligence (AI)
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple Enterprise Architecture tools that support:
  • Architecture Modelling and Blueprinting
  • Architecture Repository Management
  • Portfolio Management
  • Roadmapping and Planning
  • Governance and Compliance

Application Portfolio Management

  • Experience in measuring business and technical value of solutions, including defining key data and processes for capturing key data
  • Experience in value analysis for IT solutions, applications, platforms and infrastructure
  • Experience in portfolio risk analysis, technical debt, vendor viability and direction analysis, market trends and skill availability
  • Experience with application lifecycle management and cross-dependencies with infrastructure lifecycle management, contract management and cloud as a service.

Enterprise Architecture Domains

  • Knowledge and experience in Application architecture, Technology Architecture, Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and directions
  • Experience leading shared platform design, documentation and configuration for medium or large corporate implementations
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of solutioning based on a composable and modular architecture approach and leveraging enterprise platforms

IT Strategy and Change Managemen

  • Demonstrated Strategic thinking and development, aligns strategic objectives with technology and resources
  • Experience providing direction on operationalizing business strategy including systems, processes and required data.
  • Demonstrated Transformation thinking, and understanding of data interdependencies
  • Experience developing IT strategy aligned with business vision
