Job Role: Project Manager (Insurance exp)
Location : Waterloo, ON /Hybrid
Position Type: 1-year perm - Contract Role
Ideal Candidate Rate: $115k base or $70/hr incorp
Candidate must have to work in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month.
Must Have:
- 8+ years of progressive Project Management experience, preferably within complex technology or business transformation environments.
- Must have insurance industry experience
- Demonstrated experience personally developing and managing detailed integrated project plans.
- Strong traditional Waterfall project management experience.
- Experience working in hybrid environments combining Waterfall governance with Agile/iterative sprint delivery.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent technology and business workstreams.
- Strong understanding of technology implementations, systems integration, data, infrastructure and/or application delivery.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex dependencies and critical paths.
- Strong experience with project governance, RAID management, change control and executive reporting.
- Exceptional organizational, planning and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
