Job Role: Project Manager (Insurance exp)
Location : Waterloo, ON /Hybrid
Position Type: 1-year perm - Contract Role
Ideal Candidate Rate: $115k base or $70/hr incorp
Candidate must have to work in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month.
Must Have:
- 8+ years of progressive Project Management experience, preferably within complex technology or business transformation environments.
- Must have insurance industry experience
- Demonstrated experience personally developing and managing detailed integrated project plans.
- Strong traditional Waterfall project management experience.
- Experience working in hybrid environments combining Waterfall governance with Agile/iterative sprint delivery.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent technology and business workstreams.
- Strong understanding of technology implementations, systems integration, data, infrastructure and/or application delivery.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex dependencies and critical paths.
- Strong experience with project governance, RAID management, change control and executive reporting.
- Exceptional organizational, planning and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Oversee project governance, RAID management, change control, and executive reporting while working with technical and business stakeholders across Waterfall and Agile delivery environments.
Requirements
Requires at least 8 years of progressive project management experience and experience in the insurance industry. Candidates should have strong Waterfall and hybrid Agile delivery experience, technology implementation knowledge, and excellent planning, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
