Job Title: Senior .NET Full Stack Developer
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: October 2027
Location: Toronto
Ideal Rate: $90- $95 (Based on Experience)
Hybrid- 3 days
Must haves:
- 10+ years of hands-on enterprise software development with C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and legacy .NET Framework
- Strong REST API development, authentication/authorization, JWT and OAuth2
- Strong Angular / AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery experience
- Extensive Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL development and performance tuning
- Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience – App Service, Azure SQL, Storage, Event Hub, ADX, Key Vault, Application Insights and Azure Monitor
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git
- Strong experience with multithreading, asynchronous programming, scalability and performance optimization
- Experience with legacy application modernization, including WCF, Windows Services, Windows Forms, IIS and .NET Framework
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, OOP, SDLC and Agile/Scrum
Strongly Preferred
- Experience decomposing monolithic applications into modular services, APIs or microservices
- Experience with DDD, API-first and event-driven architecture
- Healthcare system integration experience
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR and Mirth Connect
- Experience migrating AngularJS applications to modern Angular
- Experience with automated testing, secure development and application monitoring

The developer will be responsible for enterprise software development, including the modernization of legacy applications and the decomposition of monolithic systems into modular services. They will also manage API development, database performance tuning, and the maintenance of CI/CD pipelines within an Azure environment.
Requirements
Candidates must have over 10 years of experience in C#, .NET, and Angular development, along with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and SQL Server. Experience with healthcare system integration, specifically HL7 and FHIR, is strongly preferred.
