Job Title: Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: October 2027

Location: Toronto

Ideal Rate: $70- $75 (Based on Experience)

Hybrid- 3 days onsite

Must haves:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and software testing
  • 5+ years designing and implementing test automation solutions
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end test automation
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and release support
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated regression test suites
  • Strong experience with functional, integration, system, end-to-end, and regression testing

Nice-to-Have

  • Healthcare or public-sector experience
  • Experience with healthcare information systems
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
  • Experience testing cloud-based or Azure-hosted applications
  • Experience working in regulated environments

Responsibilities

Design and implement test automation solutions, including Playwright-based UI and end-to-end automation, and develop and maintain automated regression test suites. Perform functional, integration, system, end-to-end, and regression testing, while using Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and release support.

Requirements

Requires at least 10 years of professional quality assurance and software testing experience, including at least five years designing and implementing test automation solutions. Candidates must have strong hands-on Playwright experience and experience with Azure DevOps and multiple testing types; healthcare or public-sector experience, CI/CD, Azure-hosted applications, and regulated environments are preferred.
