Technology Architect - Senior
Toronto, ON (Hybrid: 3 days onsite)
Duration: Oct 26, 2026 - Oct 5, 2027
Hourly rate: $90-100 based on experience
We are seeking a Senior Technology Architect with strong expertise in Oracle Database, IBM TRIRIGA, WebSphere, ODI, SQL Server, Hadoop, Linux/Unix, and enterprise infrastructure architecture to support large-scale OPS applications, integrations, migrations, and middleware operations.
Must Have skills:
- 10+ years Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c), RAC, Data Guard, Flashback
- IBM TRIRIGA 3.7.x/10.7.x administration, upgrades, cloning
- IBM WebSphere and IHS
- Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.x
- SQL Server 2016+ and SSRS
- Hadoop installation/configuration on Linux
- Linux, Solaris, AIX, Windows Server
- Database migration, performance tuning, backup/recovery
- System & data integration architecture
- SSO/IAM solutions
- Infrastructure planning, deployments, and troubleshooting
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Nice to Have skills:
Nice to Have
- Ontario Public Sector (OPS) experience.
- Experience with Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture standards and practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Oracle IAM, or IAM modernization initiatives.
- Experience with OpenText ECM solutions.
- Experience supporting large-scale Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse environments (20TB+).
- Experience with DB2 Database Administration.
- Previous experience supporting complex ministries, government agencies, or large public-sector organizations.

Responsibilities
Support large-scale Ontario Public Service applications through enterprise infrastructure architecture, system and data integrations, database migrations, and middleware operations. Plan and execute infrastructure deployments, troubleshoot complex environments, and maintain clear documentation while communicating with stakeholders.
Requirements
Requires 10 or more years of Oracle Database experience, including RAC, Data Guard, and Flashback, along with hands-on expertise in IBM TRIRIGA, WebSphere, ODI, SQL Server, Hadoop, and Linux/Unix environments. Candidates should also have experience with database administration and migration, performance tuning, integration architecture, SSO/IAM, infrastructure deployments, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
