Job Role: Software Developer - ETL - Senior
Location : Toronto, ON/Onsite
Position Type : Contract Role

2027-10-05
5 days Onsite in a week
Ideal Candidate Rate: CAD 90-95/Hr (Depending on the experience)
Must Have:
- Experience with the Microsoft suite of technology including: Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Power BI
- Experience with Databricks Platform
- Experience with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) suite of technology including: Amazon Aurora, Amazon Relational Database Search, Glue, OpenSearch, etc.
- Experience with developing data extraction, transformation, and load programs (daily and initial load) functionality on a wide range of data repositories (structured and semi-structured files, relational and multi-dimensional data stores)
- Experience with developing, implementing, and maintaining schedule/dependency logic for Extract Transform Load (ETL) scripts
- Experience with data integration, data cleansing, and data analytics
- Experience with data modeling and design principles for data marts and data warehouses
- Experience in database management and administration

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ETL programs for daily and initial data loads across structured and semi-structured files, relational databases, and multidimensional data stores. Implement and maintain ETL scheduling and dependency logic, and support data integration, cleansing, analytics, data modeling, and database administration.
Requirements
Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Azure data technologies, Power BI, Databricks, and AWS data services. They must also have experience developing ETL processes, managing schedules and dependencies, integrating and cleansing data, designing data marts and warehouses, and administering databases.
