We’re looking for a motivated, reliable individual to join our team as a Junior Fire Alarm Technician/Trainee. This is a rare opportunity to earn your CFAA certification while working full‑time, gaining hands‑on experience, and receiving company‑supported education and training.

What You’ll Do (Training Provided)
- Assist with fire alarm inspections, testing, service, and repairs
- Help with repairs of various fire alarm system components
- Perform fire extinguisher and emergency lighting inspections
- Complete work orders, inspection reports, and documentation
- Support senior technicians
- Address customer inquiries professionally
- Follow all Health & Safety policies
Additional Responsibilities (as you grow)
- Learn and follow ULC Standards, Building & Fire Codes, CSA, NFPA, and the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Provide on‑site support to certified fire alarm technicians
- Maintain high standards of system reliability and customer satisfaction
- Complete reports accurately and on time
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
- No experience required - on‑the‑job training provided
- Electronics diploma or fire‑safety education is an asset
- Enrollment in CFAA is an asset (not required)
- Willingness to progress toward full CFAA certification
- Valid G‑class driver’s license with a clean record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to write neat, accurate reports
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working on ladders
- Able to work in challenging environments
- Able to lift 35 lbs
- Ability to work flexible hours
