Introduction

Are you energized by solving customer problems, coordinating several moving pieces, and taking ownership until an issue is fully resolved? Our client in the logistics services sector is looking for a Bilingual Customer Operations Coordinator who can support customers and external partners in French and English while helping keep day-to-day operations moving smoothly.

This is a hands-on, growth-focused opportunity for someone with customer service experience who is adaptable, organized, confident communicating with different stakeholders, and eager to build deeper operational knowledge.

Why You'll Want This Role

  • Build broad experience across customer support, issue resolution, partner coordination and day-to-day operations.
  • Take real ownership of customer issues from initial escalation through final resolution.
  • Develop expertise in more complex service matters while working closely with experienced team members during onboarding.
  • Work in a varied environment where priorities change and your judgment, communication and problem-solving skills make a visible difference.
  • Collaborate with customers, external partners and internal teams rather than handling the same type of request all day.

What You'll Do

You will be a key point of contact when customers or external partners need help resolving an issue. You will investigate what happened, explain the situation clearly, coordinate the right people and keep the matter moving until it is closed.

The work is varied. Some situations will involve general customer questions, while others will require deeper investigation, escalation management or coordination with external service partners.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers and external partners in French and English by email, phone and through an online platform.
  • Take ownership of escalated customer concerns and manage them through to resolution.
  • Respond to general inquiries involving service issues during and after delivery.
  • Help customers understand applicable processes and coordinate required follow-up when needed.
  • Investigate issues, identify root causes and explain findings in clear, practical language.
  • Work toward established customer response-time standards.
  • Manage disputes and more complex cases from information gathering through final resolution.
  • Coordinate between customers, external partners and internal teams so everyone understands the status and next step.
  • Triage incoming issues, identify urgency and escalate matters appropriately.
  • Support broader operational and business needs as priorities shift.
  • Build a strong understanding of internal processes and systems so you can guide customers effectively.
  • Help maintain positive, professional relationships with external service partners.
  • Stay organized and composed when volumes increase or several issues require attention at once.

Qualifications

Required:

  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, retail, serving, a call centre or another customer-facing environment.
  • Strong French and English communication skills, written and spoken, for supporting customers and external partners.
  • Clear, confident communication and the ability to explain complicated issues in straightforward terms.
  • Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks at different stages.
  • Sound judgment when deciding what requires immediate escalation and what can follow the normal process.
  • Accountability and follow-through, with the ability to move issues forward without constant direction.
  • Adaptability and comfort working in a role where daily priorities can change.
  • Professional discretion when handling sensitive customer and partner information.
  • A collaborative approach, including knowing when to ask for help and following up to close the loop.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Assets:

  • Experience handling customer escalations, disputes or more complex service issues.
  • Experience coordinating between customers, external partners and internal teams.
  • Exposure to logistics, transportation, delivery services or another fast-moving operational environment.

Benefits

  • Full benefits after 90 days, with costs shared between the employee and employer.
