Introduction

Our client, an established company in the manufacturing sector, is looking for a dependable Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join its Mississauga team.

If you enjoy helping customers, keeping orders organized and building lasting professional relationships, this could be a great fit. You'll work with returning business customers and experienced colleagues in a stable, supportive environment where consistency and attention to detail are valued.

Why You'll Want This Role

Enjoy a predictable Monday to Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends.
Join an experienced, supportive team where colleagues have built long-term careers.
Build ongoing relationships with established business customers.
Receive medical, dental and vision benefits, along with paid vacation and sick time.
Get a firsthand look at the work through a job shadowing session during the hiring process.

What You'll Do

You'll help business customers and internal sales representatives with orders, delivery updates and everyday questions. Your work will involve approximately 10 to 15 calls and 20 to 30 orders on a typical day.

Some requests will be straightforward, while others will require checking information with colleagues or following up with customers. You'll have the opportunity to provide reliable service, solve practical problems and help keep daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Receive, review and enter customer orders by telephone, email and electronic ordering systems.
Resolve missing or incomplete order information and confirm details with customers.
Provide order status updates, estimated delivery dates and shipping information, including international shipments.
Answer customer questions about products, pricing, availability and quotations.
Coordinate with technical and service teams to resolve product questions and equipment service requests.
Refer accounts requiring credit review to the appropriate internal team.
Support sales representatives with order information and product documentation.
Record customer inquiries, complaints and returns, and coordinate credit notes, return authorizations and warranty follow-up.
Review French-language customer communications and marketing materials when needed.
Complete daily order reconciliation, filing and related administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Required:

At least 2 years of experience in customer service.
Advanced spoken and written French and English skills for daily customer communication, order processing and written follow-up.
Strong telephone communication, computer and data entry skills.
Ability to stay organized, manage several requests and follow through on customer commitments.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to occasionally lift items weighing 10 to 20 pounds and use stairs.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Assets:

Experience with customer order entry and processing.
Experience using enterprise resource planning or customer relationship management software.
Experience supporting customers in a product-based business.
Experience troubleshooting technical products or equipment.

Benefits

Medical, dental and vision benefits.
Two weeks of vacation.
Paid sick time.
Vacation and sick time prorated during the first year.
Job shadowing opportunity during the hiring process.
