Bilingual Inside Sales Representative (English/French)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Work Arrangement: Full-Time, 100% On-Site

Base Salary: $60,000 to $61,000 annually

Additional Compensation: Performance-based bonuses and profit sharing

Total Earning Potential: Approximately $70,000 to $76,000 in Year 1, with potential to reach $100,000 annually as you become established.

Introduction

Are you a bilingual English and French sales professional who enjoys building customer relationships, providing excellent service, and being part of a dependable team?

Our client, an established Canadian industrial products distributor, is seeking a Bilingual Inside Sales Representative to join its Mississauga team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values stability, consistency, and a positive working environment. You'll join an experienced, supportive team where collaboration, accountability, and long-term relationships matter.

Fluency in both English and French is essential, as a significant portion of customer interactions are conducted in French.

If you're looking for a reliable, long-term career where your contributions are appreciated and your earning potential can grow, this could be the right fit.

What You’ll Do

You'll be an important part of a busy inside sales team, helping existing business customers with product inquiries, quotations, orders, and account support.

This is primarily a customer-focused inside sales position rather than an aggressive cold-calling role.

You'll work with an established customer base, develop strong relationships, and help customers find the right products and solutions.

Our client provides hands-on product training, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with transferable sales or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries by telephone and email in English and French.
Prepare accurate quotations, pricing information, and sales orders.
Process customer orders and coordinate product availability.
Maintain positive relationships with existing business customers.
Follow up on quotations and identify additional sales opportunities.
Support account development through relationship building and cross-selling.
Perform basic calculations involving measurements, quantities, and product dimensions.
Maintain accurate customer information and sales records.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent customer service.
Assist customers across different Canadian regions when required.

Qualifications

Fluent English and French, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Previous experience in inside sales, B2B customer service, order processing, or account coordination.
Experience preparing quotations, managing orders, or supporting business customers.
Strong mathematical aptitude and comfort working with measurements, quantities, and pricing.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple customer requests in a structured, fast-paced environment.
A dependable, collaborative, and customer-focused approach.
Comfortable working on-site in Mississauga five days per week.
Interest in building a stable, long-term career.

Nice to Have:

Experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, wholesale, building materials, or related industries.
Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
Previous experience supporting established B2B customer accounts.

Direct industrial product experience is not required. Our client is prepared to train someone with the right attitude, communication skills, and willingness to learn.

Benefits

Our client offers a competitive compensation structure designed to reward consistent performance and long-term contributions.

Compensation and Incentives

Annual base salary of $60,000 to $61,000.
Estimated first-year performance bonus of $10,000 to $15,000.
Potential to earn approximately $100,000 in annual total compensation as you become fully established, including bonuses and profit sharing.
Performance incentives that recognize individual productivity and team contributions.

Bonuses and profit sharing are performance-based and are not guaranteed.

Additional Benefits

The following benefits were offered historically and are subject to confirmation for this vacancy:

Three weeks of paid vacation.
Extended health, dental, and vision coverage.
Life and disability insurance.
Critical illness insurance.
Pension plan with a 3% employer contribution.
On-site parking.
Structured product training and ongoing team support.
A consistent, office-based working environment.

Why Work with Us

A Stable, Established Employer

Our client has a long-standing presence in the Canadian industrial distribution sector, offering an established business environment and an experienced team.

A Supportive Team Culture

You'll work alongside knowledgeable colleagues who value teamwork, transparency, and helping one another succeed.

An Established Customer Base

This isn't a position built around constant cold calling. You'll primarily support existing customers, manage incoming requests, and develop long-term business relationships.

Training and Support

You don't need to arrive knowing every product. Our client provides practical training and guidance to help you become confident and successful in the role.

Strong Long-Term Earning Potential

Your compensation can increase as you develop product knowledge, strengthen customer relationships, and contribute to team performance.

Consistency and Work-Life Balance

Enjoy a structured, full-time, office-based role with a consistent weekday schedule and a team that values dependable performance.

Build a Career You Can Count On

If you're a bilingual professional who enjoys helping customers, working with a supportive team, and building a stable career, we'd love to hear from you.
