Introduction

Are you bilingual in French and English, technically curious, and ready to make an impact in a customer-focused sales role? Our client in the technical products sector is looking for a Bilingual Inside Sales Representative to help customers find solutions, coordinate orders, and deliver excellent service.

This is a salaried, non-commission opportunity where you can build your technical knowledge, strengthen customer relationships, and contribute to a team that values your initiative and attention to detail.

Why You'll Want This Role

Develop valuable technical product knowledge through structured onboarding and hands-on training.
Make a meaningful contribution by helping customers solve problems and keeping orders moving smoothly.
Enjoy a consistent Monday to Friday schedule with support from an experienced team.
Benefit from employer-paid supplemental health insurance and a retirement savings plan with profit sharing.

What You'll Do

You'll be a key point of contact for customers who need product information, pricing, technical guidance, and order support. Working closely with internal teams, you'll help ensure customers receive accurate information, timely responses, and dependable service.

Your ability to communicate in French and English, understand technical information, and manage details will directly contribute to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

Respond to inbound customer calls and inquiries in French and English.
Provide product information, pricing details, and practical technical guidance.
Prepare accurate quotations and follow up with customers.
Process customer orders and maintain accurate records and documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams regarding order status, delivery updates, and customer requirements.
Help customers resolve product-related questions and service concerns.
Apply technical product knowledge gained through hands-on training and ongoing development.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on customer satisfaction and service quality.

Qualifications

Required:

At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience.
Strong spoken and written French and English communication skills for customer service, technical explanations, quotations, and order coordination.
Mechanical aptitude or a demonstrated interest in technical products.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable using computers, maintaining accurate records, and managing multiple tasks.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work effectively with a team.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Assets:

Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
Engineering-related education or a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) qualification.
Experience supporting customers with technical products or equipment.

Benefits

Supplemental health insurance with premiums fully paid by the employer.
Retirement savings plan with profit sharing.
Structured onboarding and ongoing team support.
Hands-on product training and opportunities to develop technical knowledge.

Why Work with Us

Our client values teamwork, dependable service, and continuous learning. You'll join an environment where your contributions matter, your technical curiosity is encouraged, and you'll have the support to build confidence in your role.

If you enjoy helping people, learning how products work, and taking ownership of customer requests, this could be a rewarding next step in your career.
