Role Description The Insurance Broker role is a full-time hybrid position based in Windsor, ON, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the broker will advise clients on personal and commercial insurance products, assess coverage needs, and recommend appropriate solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing quotes, processing policy changes, renewals, and new business, as well as handling claims inquiries and providing ongoing client support. The broker will maintain strong relationships with both clients and insurance carriers, stay informed about industry trends and underwriting guidelines, and ensure all activities comply with regulatory and company standards. Collaboration with colleagues, participation in sales and service initiatives, and contributing to a positive, client-focused environment are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance products and services.
• Understanding of Finance principles and the ability to explain financial aspects of insurance coverage.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication and relationship-building with diverse clients.
• Familiarity with Retirement Planning and the integration of insurance solutions into long-term financial strategies.
• Relevant provincial insurance licensing (e.g., RIBO or equivalent) or eligibility to obtain it.
• Proficiency with insurance brokerage management systems and standard office software.
• Detail-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts.
• Previous experience in an insurance brokerage or financial services environment is an asset.
