Hiring Requirements:
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Analyst, Revenue Growth Management (RGM) to support the development and execution of strategies that drive profitable growth, optimize trade investments, and strengthen market competitiveness.
Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Growth Management, this role is responsible for providing data-driven insights and recommendations across pricing, promotional effectiveness, innovation, and channel strategy. The Analyst will conduct competitive, market, and financial analyses to support pricing decisions and identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, and market share.
This role will also work closely with the RGM Promo Optimization team to enhance promotional planning tools, identify KPI improvement opportunities, and deliver actionable insights that support data-driven commercial decision-making and profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Category and Business Insights
- Conduct category reviews and performance analyses to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, competitive dynamics, and risks across channels and customers.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and scorecards that provide timely visibility into sales, pricing, promotional effectiveness, market performance, and key RGM metrics.
- Monitor category, customer, and portfolio performance through regular reporting and analytics, highlighting key insights and growth opportunities.
- Analyze customer and channel performance metrics, including price elasticity, portfolio segmentation, and margin structures
Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO):
- Conduct in-depth analyses of promotional performance to identify trends, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities.
- Execute pricing and promotional strategies to maximize ROI, volume, profit, and share.
- Summarize insights and recommendations to sales teams through a clear alignment on meeting Retailer and Bimbo Canada objectives (i.e. growing profit pool)
- Track and report on KPIs such as trade spend ROI through post-mortem analysis on key feature programs reporting on incremental revenue, margin contribution, promo efficiency and volume growth.
- Communicate pricing guidelines and promotional tactics clearly to internal stakeholders.
Advanced Analytics & AI Enablement
- Leverage AI-powered tools, analytics, and data visualization to identify opportunities and translate complex data into actionable insights that support pricing, promotional, and revenue growth decisions.
- Utilize AI and automation technologies to improve forecasting, streamline reporting, and enhance the speed and quality of commercial decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner and liaison with Brand Marketing, Sales, Supply Planning, Omnichannel Marketing & Field Sales teams to ensure seamless execution of channel strategies.
- Establish, and share the capabilities and benefits of RGM across the organization
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, including trade planning, performance report, pricing approval process and monthly RGM dashboard
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytic, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in Revenue Growth Management, Category Management, Commercial Finance, Sales Strategy, Consumer Insights, Data Analytics, or related analytical roles.
- Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) would be preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to analyze complex data, leveraging insights to build a story to present to sales and cross-functional teams.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI and Nielsen is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines
- Experience with Consumer Insights/Intelligence Data like Nielsen is an asset.
- Strong financial knowledge and the ability to build recommendations to meet business priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence.
- Action-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering measurable results.
- Innovative thinker with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Curiosity and aptitude for leveraging emerging AI technologies to enhance productivity, accelerate insight generation, improve forecasting accuracy, automate routine analytical tasks, and support fact-based commercial decision-making.
- Ability to use data visualization, predictive analytics, and AI-assisted tools to identify revenue growth opportunities, evaluate promotional effectiveness, and support pricing and channel strategies.
The annual salary range for applicants is: $61,000 - $84,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors.
