Hiring Requirements:

The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for leading daily distribution operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective shipping, receiving, and warehousing activities. This role drives productivity, continuous improvement, labour relations, employee development, and customer service performance while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day distribution operations and ensure on-time customer shipments.
Lead, coach, train, and develop hourly employees to achieve operational goals.
Manage labour relations and administer collective agreement requirements.
Drive continuous improvement, Lean initiatives, productivity gains, and cost-saving opportunities.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and operational controls.
Monitor performance metrics and provide timely operational reporting.
Promote workplace safety, lead safety initiatives, and maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
Support quality and compliance requirements within the distribution function.

Experience & Education:

2 to 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a distribution, warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment.
Experience managing and developing frontline employees in a unionized workplace.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience leading projects and implementing operational improvements.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, results-oriented leader with a strong focus on safety, service, and operational excellence.

The annual salary range for applicants is: $61,500 - $92,250, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other factors.
