Bingemans is one of the Waterloo Region's largest and most dynamic meeting and conference facilities. In addition, Bingemans is one of Southwestern Ontario's largest catering companies for both on and off-site events, with over 70 years of successful event experience.

We are Waterloo Region's leader in hospitality providing the very best in family entertainment. With amenities ranging from the Big Splash Water Park, FunWorx Indoor Playland and the Bingemans Camping Resort, we are the ticket for exceptional fun! In the fall, we turn into Canada’s most terrifying haunted attraction- Screampark. In October, the Oktoberfest Kool Haus is home to thousands of guests to celebrate KW Oktoberfest (North America's largest Bavarian festival).

Kingpin Bowlounge Boston Pizza is hiring Hosts/Hostesses!

Are you quick with a smile and a helping hand? Reporting to the General Manager, the host/hostess is responsible for the greeting and seating of all restaurant guests in a prompt, efficient and performing a variety of other tasks within the restaurant.

What will you be doing?

Answering phone calls, taking reservations, and answering questions.
Greeting guests, providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas.
Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them.
Take bowling reservations and assign bowling lanes and shoes.
Responsible for the handling of cash within the restaurant.
Helping with other positions in the restaurant as needed.

What we're looking for?

Excellent communication skills.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast pace environment.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be tech savvy and willing to learn new POS and booking systems.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift objects less than 25 lbs.
