We’re Not Just Hiring. We’re Building Something Bigger.
Technical Service Representative | Biomedical Engineering Technologist
📍 Based in Newfoundland & Labrador | Travel Across Canada
There’s something exciting happening in healthcare technology right here in Newfoundland & Labrador. And we’re looking for the right person to help us take it even further.
We’re hiring a Technical Service Representative (Biomedical Engineering Technologist) to join our growing team.
But this isn't just another service position.
It's an opportunity to help build something much bigger.
For over a decade, we've been building a healthcare technology company with a reputation for technical expertise, exceptional service, and strong relationships. Today, we're taking that experience and building something even more ambitious.
Our vision is to grow a nationally recognized healthcare technology service organization, bringing together Biomedical Technology, Diagnostic Imaging, Metrology, and other specialized technical services.
Built right here in Newfoundland & Labrador. Growing across Canada.
And we want people who are excited to be part of that journey.
The Opportunity
As a Technical Service Representative, you'll be on the front lines of what we do, working directly with healthcare professionals, supporting critical medical technologies, and helping ensure equipment performs safely and reliably.
This is a hands-on, field-based position for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, building relationships, and getting out on the road.
What you'll be doing:
- Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and performance verification on biomedical and healthcare equipment.
- Providing on-site technical service and support to healthcare facilities and customers.
- Travelling throughout Newfoundland & Labrador and across Canada to support our growing customer base.
- Installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining a variety of medical technologies.
- Preparing accurate service reports, technical documentation, and maintenance records.
- Building strong relationships with customers and representing our company with professionalism and pride.
- Working alongside our technical team to solve problems, share knowledge, and continuously improve how we deliver service.
- Helping identify opportunities to expand our technical capabilities and support new services as we grow.
👤 Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who brings both technical experience and the right attitude.
Ideally, you'll have:
- A diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience servicing, maintaining, or troubleshooting biomedical or healthcare equipment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to work independently in the field while being part of a close-knit team.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly.
- A genuine interest in learning new technologies and expanding your technical expertise.
But beyond the qualifications, we're looking for something more.
Someone who:
Enjoys travelling, meeting new people, and tackling new challenges. Takes pride in their work and understands the importance of supporting healthcare professionals.
Is a team player who wants to see the people around them succeed.
Is comfortable working in a growing company where opportunities and responsibilities evolve.
Brings ideas to the table and isn't afraid to take initiative.
Wants to be part of building a company, not just working for one.
Why Join Us?
We're not a large corporation where you're just another employee number.
We're a growing Newfoundland & Labrador company with big ambitions, a strong team, and an exciting road ahead.
When you join us, you'll have the opportunity to:
Make a real impact - your work, ideas, and contributions will help shape our future.
See the country - travel to different locations, work with new customers, and experience a variety of healthcare environments.
Grow your career - gain exposure to new technologies, specialized services, and future leadership opportunities.
Be part of a great team - work alongside people who genuinely support one another.
Build something meaningful and help grow a Newfoundland-based company into a national leader in healthcare technology services.
We believe some of the best companies in Canada can be built right here at home.
And we're determined to prove it.
Ready to Be Part of Something Bigger?
If you're an experienced Biomedical Engineering Technologist who enjoys technology, travel, problem-solving, and being part of a team that's going places, we want to hear from you.
We're looking for someone who sees where we're headed and thinks:
"I want to help build that."
Come grow with us.
