Original job description

Company Description BioPed Footcare has been providing foot and lower limb care for over 40 years through a network of 65 locations across Canada. Certified Canadian Pedorthists assess, cast, design, and manufacture custom-made orthotics in on-site labs, ensuring precise, timely, and easily adjustable solutions for clients. In addition to orthotics, BioPed offers fashionable orthotic-friendly footwear, footwear modifications, compression stockings, OTC braces, and custom knee braces. The team is focused on delivering a “total patient care experience,” offering individualized, comprehensive solutions that address a wide range of foot and lower limb needs. More information about BioPed’s services and locations is available at www.bioped.com.

Role Description The Chiropodist role at BioPed Footcare is a full-time, on-site position based in Bradford, ON. The Podiatrist will perform clinical assessments of foot and lower limb conditions, diagnose and develop treatment plans, and collaborate closely with Pedorthists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, prescribing and overseeing orthotic and footwear solutions, performing minor procedures when required, and educating patients on preventative foot care and long-term management. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, participating in interdisciplinary case discussions, and supporting clinic operations to deliver a consistently high-quality patient care experience. The Podiatrist will contribute to a welcoming, inclusive environment and uphold professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Experience in community or clinic-based musculoskeletal care is an asset; familiarity with Canadian healthcare settings is beneficial.
