Your Mission:
• Packing pharmaceutical products as per seasonal protocols;
• Working with each vendor’s shipping software to create waybills for specific locations;
• Verifying shipments are sent to the correct location and as per the expected delivery schedule;
• Assist with dispensing activities, such as filling and labelling medication;
• Assist with inventory activities, such as receiving orders and counting inventory weekly;
• Resolve payment or drug coverage issues with payers, including insurance companies, patient support programs, and patients;
• Work with financial information, including entering data into computer software, preparing invoices, and maintaining patient AR accounts;
• Participating in responding to communication from various stakeholders, including monitoring email accounts and answering phones; and
• Diligent and proactive monitoring of claims with issues, resolving before the patient dose date.

What You Bring to the Table:
• College diploma in Pharmacy Assistant program or related field or equivalent training and experience;
• 1+ years' experience in a similar role;
• Experience using Kroll in a pharmacy setting is an asset;
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
• High attention to detail and thorough within a fast paced environment;
• General computer proficiency and competence with Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Proficiency with numbers and calculations;
• Proven customer service skills;
• Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills;
• Ability to problem solve, think critically, and make decisions independently;
• Flexible and able to handle heavy and fluctuating workloads;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines;
• Capable of lifting and organizing boxes and inventory (5-10 lbs and repetitive movements, up to 50 lbs);
• Driven by continuous learning; and
• Able to work well within a team environment.

Compensation: At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.

Nous recherchons un(e) Assistant(e) en pharmacie à poste permanent à temps plein pour rejoindre notre équipe dynamique de spécialistes en pharmacie spécialisée à Oakvile, Ont. La portée de ce poste comprend l’exécution d’ordonnances, l’étiquetage de médicaments, les appels aux patients, et la gestion des communications entrantes dans la boîte de réception de la pharmacie.

La portée de vos responsabilités

Emballer les produits pharmaceutiques selon les protocoles saisonniers;
Travailler avec les logiciels d’expédition de chaque fournisseur afin de créer des bordereaux d’envoi pour les emplacements précis;
· Vérifier que les livraisons sont envoyées au bon emplacement selon les délais de livraison prévus;
Aider avec les activités liées à délivrance de médicaments, comme l’exécution des ordonnances et l’étiquetage des médicaments;
Aider avec les activités liées à l’inventaire, comme la réception des commandes et le dénombrement hebdomadaire du stock;
Résoudre les problèmes de paiement ou de couverture pour médicaments avec les payeurs, y compris les compagnies d’assurance, les programmes de soutien aux patients et les patients;
Expérience de travail avec le logiciel Kroll;
Travailler avec des données financières, y compris la saisie de données dans le logiciel informatique, la préparation de factures et le maintien des créances des patients;
Répondre aux communications en provenance de divers intervenants, y compris surveiller les comptes de courriel et répondre au téléphone;
Surveiller de façon diligente et proactive les demandes de règlement ayant des problèmes, et les régler avant la date de la dose du patient.

L’expérience que vous apportez à l’équipe

Avoir un diplôme d’études secondaires (ou l’équivalent);
Avoir une expérience minimale d’un an dans un poste semblable. L’expérience dans le domaine des produits pharmaceutiques est considérée comme un atout;
Avoir d’excellentes compétences en matière de communication, à l’oral comme à l’écrit;
Être à l’aise avec le travail à l’ordinateur et l’apprentissage de divers logiciels de fournisseur;
Avoir des compétences éprouvées en service à la clientèle;
Être capable de bien gérer son temps et avoir le sens de l’organisation;
Avoir le souci du détail au sein d’un milieu dynamique;
Être capable de résoudre des problèmes, de faire preuve d’esprit critique et de prendre des décisions;
Être capable de soulever des charges jusqu’à concurrence de 30 livres de façon répétitive.
