Body Repair Technician, Licensed

Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the Production Manager.

Hour of work: 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Job Summary

Birchwood Body Repair Technicians can expect:

  • High volume shops with above-average hours for Technicians

  • ICAR GOLD class professionals

The successful candidate will possess the willingness and ability to maintain current technical knowledge, the ability to estimate the time of service and repair needed, and diagnose and complete the required work right the first time.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Red Seal Certified Technician is required
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment, where teamwork is essential
  • High attention to detail with proven time management and organizational skills
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Comfortable leveraging technology for most day to day functions
  • Ability to remain to teach and coach in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record and transportation to work are required

Responsibilities

Diagnose and complete automotive body repairs, estimating the time required and ensuring work is done correctly the first time. Maintain current technical knowledge and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced shop environment, including teaching and coaching as needed.

Requirements

A licensed Red Seal Certified Technician is required.
