Student Quality CoordinatorOur internships and Co-ops are designed to provide you with a business relevant project that will allow you to independently manage your own area of responsibility, while receiving support from an assigned Supervisor and Technical Mentor. We’ll help you discover your strengths and development areas in a challenging, fun, and supportive work environment.

We are seeking a student to join us for an 8-12 month co-op position starting in January 2027. This position will be based out of Regina, SK.

What You Will Be Working On

Create and update new procedures, training matrix, review RFP, Code of Construction and Standards.

Work with the engineering team to address technical issues through Requests for Information (RFIs) and technical queries.

Audit subcontractors' quality management systems to ensure compliance with project scopes of work.

Actively contribute to the enhancement of quality processes and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the business

This job description outlines the general nature and level of work performed by the Student Quality Coordinator. It is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties required for the role, and it may vary depending on assignment. Bird may modify or add to the job duties and qualifications as needed.

You are currently enrolled in Mechanical, Structural, or Industrial Engineering program.

You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Residency, or a valid work permit which would allow you to work for Bird Construction or one of our wholly owned subsidiaries
