 Warehouse Associate

We are a growing company and currently have 52 sales facilities located throughout North America and 7 distribution centers. We are looking to add a warehouse associate to our local Oakville, ON facility.

Responsibilities

  • Shipping and Receiving (UPS/FedEx)
  • Cycle County/Inventory Control
  • Forklift operations (certification not required but a plus)
  • Kitting Projects
  • Maintaining a clean work environment

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience working within a warehouse, ideally within a distribution environment but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, working environment for distribution pulling, cutting, packing and shipping orders. Must be able to meet required daily goals.
  • Team player who can also work with little supervision and willing to give 120%.
  • Must be detail oriented, organized and meticulous about your work
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly + stand/and or be on your feet 8hrs a day
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Computer experience using Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Familiar with AS9100 requirements is a huge plus

Handle shipping and receiving, inventory control, forklift operations, kitting projects, and order fulfillment tasks such as pulling, cutting, packing, and shipping. Maintain a clean work environment and meet daily productivity goals.

Requirements

Candidates should have one year of warehouse experience, although training may be provided to the right candidate. They must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, remain on their feet for eight hours, communicate fluently in English, use Microsoft Office applications, and work accurately and effectively with a team or independently.
