Contract Duration: December 7, 2026 – April 13, 2027
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support a data-focused project involving data validation, ETL testing, and Monitoring & Evaluation reporting. The successful candidate will have strong SQL scripting skills, hands-on experience with Informatica ETL testing, and a background in Data Warehouse or Data Migration projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform ETL testing and validate data transformations, extractions, and data integrity.
- Write complex SQL queries to verify backend data and identify discrepancies.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
- Prepare testing documentation, traceability reports, and QA test results.
- Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project leads to identify and resolve issues.
- Support testing strategy, planning, and quality assurance activities.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience writing complex SQL scripts.
- 3–5 years of hands-on ETL testing experience using Informatica or an equivalent ETL tool.
- Experience working on Data Warehouse and/or Data Migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.
- Experience with data validation, data mapping, joins, aggregations, and backend database testing.
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Nice to Have
- Experience with IBM DataStage and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Knowledge of Siebel/CRM.
- Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Previous public sector experience.
