Location: Lower Mainland, BC

Travel: Frequent travel throughout BC required

Position: Full-Time

Salary: $57,000 plus expenses. Benefits offered after probationary period.

Are you an organized, energetic people-person who loves bringing events to life?

We’re looking for an Events Manager to join our team and take the lead on planning, promoting and executing engaging community events across British Columbia. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people and doesn’t mind hitting the road!

What You’ll Do

Plan, coordinate and execute community events, expos, career fairs and promotional events from start to finish.
Manage event timelines, budgets, vendors, exhibitors, sponsors and event logistics
Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, venues and community partners
Oversee the Marketing Coordinator
Develop creative ideas to increase attendance and engagement
Coordinate event marketing across print, digital, social media and other promotional channels
Oversee event setup, onsite operations and tear-down
Act as the primary onsite contact for exhibitors, sponsors and event partners
Travel to various communities throughout BC to manage events
Troubleshoot issues quickly and ensure events run smoothly
Track event results and provide post-event reporting and follow-up
Work closely with sales, marketing, editorial and design teams to deliver successful events

What We’re Looking For

Experience in event management, marketing, sales, hospitality or a related field is an asset
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
Confident working with clients, vendors, sponsors and the public
Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines at once
Creative, energetic and solutions-oriented
Strong computer skills and familiarity with Google products
A valid driver’s licence
Willingness to travel
