Role Description This is an on-site Commercial Videographer/Filmmaker contract role based in Vancouver, BC. The role involves planning, shooting, and delivering high-quality video content for commercial and branded projects. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with creative leads on concepts, operating cameras and lighting equipment, setting up shots, and ensuring technical and visual consistency. The Commercial Videographer/Filmmaker will also assist with basic production logistics, maintain equipment, and work closely with editors to ensure captured footage meets project requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Shooting Video for commercial or branded content.
- Proficient Camera Operation with various Camera systems used in professional filmmaking.
- Solid understanding of Lighting for studio and location shoots.
- Experience following creative briefs and translating concepts into visual narratives.
- Ability to collaborate with directors, producers, and clients in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and strong time-management skills.
- Relevant portfolio or showreel demonstrating commercial videography or filmmaking work.
- Formal training or education in film, media, or a related field is an asset.
