About the Role

Blueprint 360 Systems is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Countertop Measuring Technician to visit residential job sites across Ontario and measure kitchen countertops and backsplashes before fabrication.

You'll learn how to use professional measuring and digital scanning equipment, work with kitchen layouts, and capture accurate measurements that help countertop fabricators produce a precise fit.

No previous construction experience is necessary. We're happy to train the right person and help them build practical skills and experience in the construction industry.

The role involves significant driving, so you must have a valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle.

What You'll Do

• Travel to residential job sites across Ontario to measure kitchen countertops and backsplashes.
• Use professional digital measuring and scanning equipment, along with traditional tape measures.
• Record countertop dimensions, cabinet layouts, sink locations, appliance openings, islands, and backsplash details.
• Take site photos and document measurements to ensure accuracy.
• Identify and report potential issues, such as uneven walls, out-of-square cabinets, or measurements that require clarification.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts and follow the scheduled appointment times.
• Complete measurement records, sketches, and job documentation using our established procedures.
• Submit completed measurement files and photos to the team, typically on the same day.

What We're Looking For

• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ontario.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to take accurate measurements.
• Reliability, punctuality, and good time management.
• Basic comfort using a smartphone or tablet to take photos, enter information, and follow digital instructions.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients and site contacts.
• A willingness to learn, follow procedures, and take responsibility for the quality of your work.

Experience in construction, carpentry, kitchen installation, cabinetry, countertop fabrication, surveying, or field service is an asset, but not a requirement.
