As a Manager, Risk Report Development, you'll combine your deep technical expertise in Python, SAS, GitHub and Git with your understanding of retail banking products and credit risk management to develop, review, and enhance sophisticated risk reporting frameworks.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on developer who thrives on solving complex problems, challenging conventional approaches, and leveraging emerging technologies, including AI, to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. You'll contribute to a significant reporting modernization initiative, helping migrate a portfolio of risk reports from SAS to Python while partnering with stakeholders across Risk, Analytics, and Technology.

Success in this role requires more than strong coding skills. You'll bring a solid foundation in credit risk reporting and retail banking products, enabling you to understand the business context behind reporting logic, validate complex methodologies, and provide meaningful challenge and oversight throughout the development lifecycle.

We're looking for a curious, forward-thinking professional who takes initiative, embraces innovation, and continuously seeks better ways of working. You'll have the opportunity to influence how risk reporting is delivered by combining technical excellence, sound risk management knowledge, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

If you're passionate about coding, automation, risk analytics, and modernizing reporting practices within a dynamic financial services environment, we invite you to bring your expertise and make a measurable impact.

Designs, develops, and implements reporting solutions by using Python, SAS, SQL and Power BI to meet management and regulatory reporting requirements.
Performs code reviews using GitHub to ensure code quality, accuracy, efficiency, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Participates in the design, implementation, and management of core business processes to ensure the accuracy of risk data used in reporting. Provides advice to assigned business/group on implementation of analytical and reporting solutions.
Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service for scheduled reporting production processes.
Identifies opportunities to optimize existing code, automate processes, and improve development efficiency and reporting performance.
Explores and uses approved AI tools and emerging technologies to improve code development, code review, and team productivity, verifying generated outputs and complying with company policies.
Analyzes data and highlights significant information including variances, trends, opportunities and exposures; escalates as required.
Supports the maintenance of the risk reporting framework, governance and controls, and provides documentation and information for internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.
Supports the maintenance of operational procedures and processes related to analytical and reporting processes.
Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
