Your Impact
As a Senior Relationship Manager, Agriculture, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and deepening a portfolio of clients while serving as their primary strategic point of contact.
You will:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategically important clients.
- Understand clients' business objectives and provide financial solutions tailored to their needs.
- Structure and negotiate complex credit transactions in collaboration with specialized teams.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow wallet share among existing and prospective clients.
- Leverage market trends and industry knowledge to provide high-value advice.
- Collaborate with internal partners to deliver an exceptional client experience and integrated solutions.
- Represent BMO within the business community through events, conferences, and market development activities.
- Contribute to the achievement of portfolio growth and profitability objectives while maintaining sound risk management practices.
What You Bring
- 2 to 5 years of experience in relationship management, account management, or portfolio management within commercial banking or a similar environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Agronomy, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, commercial lending, and risk management.
- Proven ability to build lasting business relationships and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity, and a strong client focus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the agriculture and agri-food sector.

$70,000.00 - $150,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
