Original job description

Start With What Engages You.

We believe in creating an environment where our interns really can learn by doing during their time with us and where they are given their own areas of responsibilities from the start. That’s why our experts treat you as part of the team from day one, encourage you to bring your own ideas to the table – and give you the opportunity to really show what you can do.

Rolls Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood, Regional Sales Operations - Placement Year (July 2027)

We are looking for a confident and eager to learn individual to join our European and UK Regional Sales team. As our Intern, you will be working in a team responsible for delivering our sales performance across the UK, Europe, and Central Asia. This role involves supporting the Region’s Sales team.

What awaits you?

Working with 24 dealers spread across UK, Europe and Central Asia
Providing reporting insights to the Regional Sales team to support performance optimisation.
Managing Client/ Dealer Order pipeline and specification change requests
Working closely with other RRMC departments to ensure successful scheduling of Orders
Monitoring of Used Car stock levels
Developing and proposing your own project ideas with the potential to implement proposed changes to influence the future operations of RRMC.
Communicating with dealers regarding sales topics and performance results.
Providing additional support to the Region for administrative tasks such as meeting arrangements, catering, and event management.
Training opportunities will be made available to learn about our vehicles and experience the thrill of our products first-hand.
There will be the possibility to take ownership of your role, being able to work independently and implement innovative changes and improvements where you believe it to be appropriate.
The successful candidate may be required to travel occasionally to represent the Brand with Dealer visits and to support Regional events including Goodwood Revival and Festival of Speed.

What should you bring along?

Studying towards a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accountancy, or a related field and on track to achieve at least a 2:2.
A strong operational understanding of Microsoft Office software, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital to success in this role.
An ability to work in a team and have a positive attitude.
A highly analytical person with excellent attention to detail.
Strong international and cross-cultural awareness.
Knowledge of the automotive industry and luxury segment would be desirable but is not essential.
A real desire to implement your own ideas and develop the future operations of the RRMC business - leaving a legacy of your time.

What can you look forward to?

Great Pay – A competitive annual salary, 27 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract) and an attractive pension scheme.
Rewarding Work-Life Balance
Exciting Additional Benefits – You will have the opportunity to enjoy other employee benefits, a subsidised on-site restaurant and access to our Advantages scheme which gives you a range of offers and discounts.

What do you need to do now?

If you apply, the next stages of the recruiting process include a virtual assessment centre and an in-person interview with the hiring manager.

Please note:

To be eligible for this position, you must be returning to your studies, for a minimum of 6 months, after completion of this placement. You must be able to provide proof of your legal right to work in the UK.

We are committed to promoting equal opportunities in employment and job applicants will receive equal treatment regardless of disability, age, gender reassignment, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, gender, sex or sexual orientation.

At the BMW Group, we place great importance on equal treatment and equal opportunities. Our recruiting decisions are based on the personality, experience, and skills of the applicants.
