MINI Toronto is hiring for a full time licensed automotive technician!
As a key member of our service department you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicles. Working together with our team, more specific duties will include; diagnosing and repairing vehicles; ensuring the service shop is maintained in a clean, organized, hazard-free manner; participate in any required shop safety activities; participate in technical training as required.

- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Strong automotive background
- Red Seal Certified
- Strong teamwork skills
- Criminal background check
- Must have clean & valid driver's license

Responsibilities
Diagnose, test, maintain, and repair vehicles and their systems in accordance with repair orders and manufacturer guidelines. Communicate additional service needs and repair time estimates to the Service Advisor, while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop and participating in required training.
Requirements
Candidates must have a strong automotive background and Red Seal certification, along with strong teamwork skills. A clean and valid driver's license and a criminal background check are required.
