Responsibilities
- Ensure proper maintenance and service furnaces
- Repair/replace furnaces as required
- Exhaust fan repair and service
- New capital refrigeration installations
- Ensure proper maintenance and service on MUA, rooftop and refrigeration units
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on HVAC control systems
- Maintain proper records of inspections
- Complete all required paperwork and other tasks as assigned
- Valid Journeyman Certificate as an HVAC Technician, Red Seal is an asset
- Able to work on units up and above 5 tons
- 3 to 5 years residential / commercial experience required
- Experience installing and doing service work and troubleshooting on heat pumps
- Previous experience doing inspections on heating and domestic hot water boilers
- Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written
- Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset
- Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
- Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Ability to take responsibility for all actions and decisions and to follow through until a resolution is obtained
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work independently (self-managed) and with other Associates in a team environment
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm
- Vehicle required
- Valid driver's license required
- On call and overtime required
- Specialized tools provided

Responsibilities
Maintain, service, troubleshoot, and repair furnaces, exhaust fans, make-up air units, rooftop units, refrigeration equipment, and HVAC control systems. Install refrigeration equipment, inspect systems, keep maintenance records, and complete required paperwork and other assigned tasks.
Requirements
A valid Journeyman HVAC Technician certificate is required, with Red Seal certification considered an asset, along with 3–5 years of residential or commercial experience. Candidates must be able to service equipment over 5 tons, have heat pump and boiler inspection experience, hold a valid driver's license, provide a vehicle, and be available for on-call work and overtime.
