Original job description

Company Description

Bob Doc is an AI-native EMR designed to reshape how medicine is practiced, starting in Canada. Built in Toronto by a practicing GP and clinic owner, the platform embeds AI at the center of the medical record, turning clinical conversations into structured notes that drive orders, prescriptions, forms, and referrals. The system actively supports clinicians by understanding context, preparing documentation, and connecting follow-up to care plans, reducing administrative burden and expanding clinic capacity. Bob Doc’s mission is to give clinicians more time with patients and transform everyday clinical workflows through intelligent, integrated software.

The Role

You’ll work directly with the founder to develop and execute our sales and marketing strategy. Initially, you’ll personally drive outreach, build relationships, run sales conversations and win customers. As the business grows, you’ll recruit, coach and lead the sales team.

What you’ll do

  • Identify prospective clinics and build relationships with physicians, clinic owners, managers and other decision-makers.
  • Develop and run targeted outreach through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, partnerships and clinic visits.
  • Create marketing campaigns, messaging and sales materials that generate interest and qualified demo bookings.
  • Own the sales process from initial contact and discovery through product demonstrations, proposals, negotiation and closing.
  • Understand each clinic’s needs, explain Bob Doc’s value clearly, and work with the founder to address clinical and technical questions.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline, follow up consistently, and track opportunities and forecasts.
  • Measure results through qualified leads, attended demos, conversion rates, new clinic customers and revenue.
  • Establish a repeatable sales process, then recruit, train and manage the team.
  • Bring feedback from prospective customers into product, positioning and onboarding decisions.

What we’re looking for

  • A demonstrated ability to generate your own opportunities and personally close B2B sales.
  • Experience marketing or selling software, healthcare technology, or services to clinics and healthcare organizations.
  • Practical marketing skills, including campaign development, messaging, lead generation and measuring results.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust with busy healthcare professionals.
  • Experience building sales processes and hiring, coaching or leading a team.
  • Strong organization, consistent follow-through and comfort using CRM tools.
  • An entrepreneurial approach and willingness to take ownership of both strategy and daily execution.
  • Knowledge of clinic operations, EMRs and the Canadian healthcare market imperative, as would an established network of relevant healthcare contacts.

Why Bob Doc

We believe we’re at the beginning of a new era in medicine - and that Bob Doc can help build its foundation.

Our ambition is to fundamentally change how medicine is delivered: how clinicians understand their patients, how clinics coordinate care, and how much time and attention can go toward the person in the room. We’ve built Bob Doc with AI at its centre because we believe that future requires rethinking the medical record from the ground up.

Joining Bob Doc is an opportunity to help turn that vision into everyday clinical practice. You’ll work directly with the founder, build the relationships and team that bring Bob Doc into clinics, and help shape an organization with the ambition to change healthcare for generations to come.
