What are your contributions to the team?

Evaluate and propose cutting-edge technological acquisition opportunities for the machining, sheet metal,composite, and assembly sectors, allowing the organization to achieve technological excellence.
Define the strategy for carrying out its projects: content, scope, resources, deadlines, costs, risks, qualitymanagement, communications, and training.
Manage the activities of the development project phases: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan,acquisition, implementation and production start-up.
Manage the budget, schedule, and resources in all phases. Prepare and present progress reports to differentlevels of management.
Align the work of the resources involved and be the interface between the different matrix services.
Manage client expectations and change requests within projects.
Develop risk management and mitigation plans.
Participate in problem solving and recovery plans when necessary to meet deadlines for key deliverables.
Participate in the continuous improvement of our project management processes.

How to thrive in this role?

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Automated ProductionEngineering or Industrial Engineering, or any other relevant experience.
You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management.
You possess knowledge of manufacturing processes in the aeronautical industry (Asset).
You possess assets in human resources management within the framework of matrix project management.
You hold a PMI certification (asset).
You have a good analytical mind.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a great sense of organization.
You are fluent in French and English both written and spoken.
You have knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
You are passionate about achieving technological excellence.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and propose technology acquisitions for machining, sheet metal, composite, and assembly operations, and lead projects from feasibility and business planning through acquisition, implementation, and production start-up. Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, quality, communications, and stakeholder expectations while reporting progress and supporting problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in mechanical, aeronautical, automated production, or industrial engineering, or equivalent relevant experience, and at least five years of project management experience are requested. The role also calls for strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; fluency in French and English; and Microsoft Office knowledge, with aerospace manufacturing experience, matrix-team human resources management, and PMI certification listed as assets.
