  • Tele Health Program

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Develop and maintain the aircraft-level architecture, requirements, and functional, logical, and physical interfaces for Flight Deck and Primary Avionics systems, aligned with market, operational, program, safety, and regulatory needs.
  • Lead aircraft-level trade studies and provide technical leadership on design decisions affecting product configuration, safety, performance, certification, and innovation.
  • Lead cross-system and aircraft integration activities, coordinating disciplines to resolve cross-functional issues and manage aircraft-level changes, build plans, and V&V regression activities.
  • Lead aircraft-level validation and verification from planning through execution, including technical oversight of discipline-level reports and preparation of aircraft-level V&V summaries and supporting documentation.
  • Support aircraft-level safety and certification activities, including the development and review of associated compliance artifacts.
  • Drive research and technology initiatives that evaluate, mature, and integrate emerging technologies to enable next-generation operational capabilities and shape future Bombardier products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture solutions and technology roadmaps with product strategy, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent Bombardier in technical forums, partnerships, and collaborations related to flight deck and primary avionics systems.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Formal training in Systems Engineering is an asset.
  • You have more than 15 years of relevant experience in aircraft or complex-system development and certification, including systems engineering, conceptual design, architecture definition, and requirements-based verification.
  • You have more than 5 years of experience developing and integrating functional, logical, and physical architectures for flight deck, primary avionics, or other software-intensive aircraft systems, including aircraft-level requirements validation and verification.
  • You have strong knowledge of complex-system development methodologies and aerospace development assurance standards such as ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-178, and DO-254. Familiarity with DO-160, DO-297, human factors, or flight crew interface certification is an asset.
  • You have practical experience with model-based systems engineering practices and tools.
  • You bring disciplines together, clarify responsibilities, structure complex problems, and ensure aircraft-level decisions are documented, justified, verified, and certifiable.
  • You communicate technical concepts, project status, and risks clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • You foster collaborative teamwork and knowledge sharing and demonstrate strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.
  • You are curious and open to emerging flight deck and avionics technologies, particularly where they affect architecture, integration, certification, or development assurance.
  • You are passionate about aerospace innovation and motivated by long-term goals that shape future aircraft platforms.

Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!

Please note: You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed to apply for this position. We’re not looking for the perfect candidate, we’re looking for great talent and passionate individuals.
