Join FYidoctors as a Full-Time Optometrist practicing four to five days per week in our Fredericton-Smythe Street clinic. With a long-standing presence in the community and more than 20 years in its current location, this established practice offers the opportunity to inherit a loyal patient base while working alongside a collaborative and experienced team. Whether you're an experienced Optometrist or looking to grow your clinical interests, you'll find the support, autonomy, and patient demand needed to build a rewarding practice.

The Clinic

Our busy two-lane clinic is supported by a dedicated team of six, including a highly experienced Optician and several long-tenured staff members who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. The clinic maintains a strong reputation within the community, with patients consistently booking approximately four weeks in advance. Open Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the practice offers a predictable schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance.

Serving a diverse patient population that includes children, families, professionals, newcomers, and seniors, the clinic provides a broad scope of care and the opportunity to develop lasting patient relationships. The team culture is one of the practice's greatest strengths: welcoming, supportive, and highly collaborative. We are also open to Optometrists with specialty interests who are looking to expand services and further develop their clinical passions within a well-established practice.
