POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Account Specialist will collaborate with the Territory Manager to develop partnerships with small and medium-sized accounts and support the Territory Manager with large customers. They will proactively create strategies to increase sales and deepen relationships within this important business segment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include, but are not limited to,

Account Management:

Manage all small and medium-sized accounts in Ontario.
Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to develop and manage a pipeline for sales opportunities.
Create proactive prospecting strategies to open new accounts and grow market share with current customers.

Sales Support and Strategy:

Assist the Territory Manager in analytics, trend analysis, pricing, and pitch development for larger customers.
Work with the Inside Sales team to deliver top-tier customer service and value.
Use the BUILD Partnership Process to foster strong customer relationships.

Event Coordination and Customer Engagement:

Assist the Territory Manager with coordinating customer events and trade shows.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS, applicable legislation, regulations, statutes, and departmental policies/procedures/practices and operational guidelines.

Perform other related duties, as assigned, that are in accordance with job responsibilities and/or necessary departmental or corporate objectives.

CORE COMPENTANCIES:

Prerequisites:
- 5 years or more of sales experience
- Certified Sales Professional preferred
- Basic understanding of the Plumbing / Water Well Market

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical Environment: Work is usually performed in a climate-controlled, indoor environment which is clean, well-lit, and quiet.

Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk are common, often while working on a computer.

Lifting: Occasionally lifting and moving office supplies or equipment, typically weighing up to 20 pounds.
Walking and Standing: Some walking and standing may be required, such as moving between different areas of the office or attending meetings.
Fine Motor Skills: Precision in handling small tools and other office supplies.
