  • Assist with project handoffs and ensure design information is communicated accurately to project and production teams
  • Maintain organized drawing files, revisions and project documentation
  • Support and provide technical guidance to junior designers and drafting team members as required
  • Manage multiple projects and drawing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

What You Bring to the Team

  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, Drafting, Building Science or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in commercial glazing design and drafting, preferably within complex building envelope projects
  • Strong knowledge of commercial glazing systems, including curtain wall, window wall, storefront, entrances and architectural glass systems

  • Ability to identify design conflicts, technical issues and constructability concerns and develop practical solutions
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to drawing accuracy and quality
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
